You are here: Home / News / Social Care /In an interview for Community Care, care services minister Paul Burstow revealed details of targeted measures to improve awareness of carers among frontline professionals through 11 awareness-raising and capacity-building projects.
Charities such as Carers UK will be given the means to provide training themselves and grants of up to £25,000 will be provided to patient group charities such as the Stroke Association to embed support for carers in their work.
