You are here: Home / News / Social Care /The CQC’s findings from the latest Annual Performance Assessment of councils responsible for adult social care services show that councils continued to commission a high standard of adult social care throughout 2009/10.
95% of the 152 councils were assessed as performing well or excellently. Joint commissioning and monitoring of services were more common, and this was a key strength in half of all councils.
