POhWER services are free and confidential.
POhWER offices are open from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (POhWER ICAS telephone lines are also open until 7pm on Thursdays). Outside these hours there are answerphones or we can be contacted through this website.
Generic one to one advocacy, Non-Instructed Advocacy and the Empowerment services are available throughout Hertfordshire.
The Independent Complaints Advocacy Service (ICAS) is available throughout the East of England (Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk), West Midlands (Birmingham and the Black Country, Shropshire and Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire) and London.
Our Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) service
is available in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, most areas of the West Midlands and Leicestershire and in London in Hackney and Waltham Forest.
